The parish of St. Jude’s exists for the greater glory of God and the salvation of souls in our area.

This includes the souls in Henderson county, bounded by the Trinity River on the west, the dam on the south, and various roads on the east (e.g. SH198, FM3054, FM2329, SH175, and FM316); and the towns of Gun Barrel City, Seven Points, Tool, Caney City, Enchanted Oaks, Payne Springs, Eustace, and Log Cabin.

which is all taught in the family, practiced at home, and fulfilled in the parish church, because our union with Christ is also our union with each other, and we should all be as one in Christ as Christ is one in the Father (Jn 17: 11).
